Senior AI/ML Software Engineer

About the Role As a Senior AI/ML Software Engineer, you will lead the development of machine learning solutions with minimal guidance. You will be responsible for designing and optimizing algorithms, mentoring junior engineers, and driving technical decisions. This role requires the ability to solve diverse problems through analysis of multiple factors, collaborate with stakeholders, and implement best practices across ML projects to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently develop and deploy end-to-end ML solutions for complex business problems
  • Lead small to medium-sized ML projects from conception through implementation
  • Design and optimize algorithms to improve performance, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Drive technical decisions and establish ML engineering best practices
  • Mentor junior engineers in ML techniques, system design, and best practices
  • Design complex ML architectures that scale effectively
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and align technical solutions

Must Have Skills

  • Expert-Level ML Framework Knowledge: Deep expertise with ML frameworks to build sophisticated models and custom components
  • System Design and Architecture: Strong ability to design scalable ML systems and pipelines for production environments
  • End-to-End ML Pipelines: Experience building complete ML pipelines from data ingestion to model deployment
  • Model Optimization: Advanced techniques for optimizing model performance, size, and inference speed
  • Deep Learning Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of deep learning architectures and their applications
  • Natural Language Processing: Experience applying NLP techniques to solve complex language-based problems
  • Data Modeling: Advanced skills in feature engineering and creating efficient data representations

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in machine learning or AI engineering
  • Proven track record of successful ML implementations in production environments
