We are seeking a talented Robotics Application Engineer to join our European engineering team and contribute to next-generationlogisticsautomation solutions. In this role, you will develop advanced spatial and packing algorithms that feed directly intoMujinOS-powered robotic systems — enablingoptimalcontainer and binutilization, smarter loading/unloading, and efficient warehouse workflows.

Position:Senior Robotics Application Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Commission and deploy robotic systems both in-house and at customer facilities, ensuring quality, reliability, and safety
  • Configure and integrate industrial robots, robot controllers, Mujin controllers, vision systems, sensors, tooling, and peripheral equipment
  • Drive setup of electrical, mechanical, and communication interfacesrequiredfor system operation
  • Act as the technical owner of assigned projects, managing configuration changes, documentation, and system readiness throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Project Managers, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver within scope, schedule, and budget
  • Support creation of proposals, bills of material, engineering estimation, and risk assessments
  • Identify, report, and mitigate technical and project risks; contribute to scope change evaluation and contract claims when needed
  • Work directly with customers during acceptance testing, closing open issues, and performance verification
  • Provide both on-site and remote technical support for deployed systems and troubleshoot integration issues
  • Mentor and guide technicians and less senior engineers during commissioning activities
  • Contribute to creation and improvement of internal tools, processes, and standard operating procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of3+ years of hands-on experiencein industrial robotics, electrical integration, or automation commissioning
  • Experience commissioning robotic systems and industrial automation equipment
  • Proficiencycreating electrical schematics, reading specification sheets, andprocuringappropriate components
  • Experience programming PLCs and safety controllers
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively across teams and with customers
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness totravel up to ~40%of the year
  • Professional workingproficiencyin English (spoken and written)

Nice to Have

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in robotics or automation deployment
  • Hands-on experience with multi-axis robot task creation, conveyors, sensors, and industrial tooling
  • Familiarity with Linux, Python, oradditionalautomation software tools
  • Prior experience at a manufacturing,logisticsautomation, or robotics systems company
  • Knowledge of industrial safety standards and best practices
  • Ambitious, proactive, and customer-focused mindset
