Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and innovativeSr. Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced mechanical systems and products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for concept generation, detailed design, prototyping, testing, product validation, and supporting product launch activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

** Key Responsibilities**
Lead the design and development of innovative mechanical systems from concept to production.
Create 3D models, manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation using SolidWorks.
Conduct feasibility studies, design reviews, tolerance analysis, DFMEA, prototyping, testing, and validation activities.
Perform mechanical design calculations, component sizing, load analysis, and other engineering calculations.
Collaborate with electrical, controls, software, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure successful product assembly and functionality.
Optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, and reliability.
Manage multiple projects, support production activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
5-7 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
Expert proficiency in SolidWorks.
Strong expertise in GD&T, tolerances, fits, and tolerance stack-up analysis.
Experience with DFMEA, DFM, and DFA methodologies.
Strong experience in mechanical design calculations, component sizing, load analysis, and engineering calculations.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal, welding, and fabrication.
Experience in prototyping, testing, and product validation.
Ability to create detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Mandatory experience in AMR, AGV, mobile robotics, warehouse automation, or industrial robotics. Candidates without relevant AMR/AGV robotics experience will not be considered.
