Senior Technician, Maintenance*

A great maintenance mechanic is a teammate that places safety first. The maintenance technician is well versed in mechanical and electrical maintenance with knowledge of troubleshooting, reading blueprints and can work as a team player with different sets of skills.
Your Key Responsibilities:**
- Leverage knowledge and ability to operate standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools and preventative maintenance technology tools• Demonstrate experience in maintenance trades and components (ex. Low voltage electrical (240V and less), PLC, welding, pipefitting, fabrication, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, valves, mechanical maintenance, steam system, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems)• Completing preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance throughout the facility, with limited direction in a CMMS system. Document completed work and the conditions found utilizing maintenance computer software and interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations• Operating forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts following standard production documentation to deliver to the correct location• Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment• Ensure adherence to all management systems including, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and FSSC 22000, with an understanding of dsm-firmenich’s Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures. Responsible that these policies and procedures are implemented throughout the organization and all related activities under the position’s jurisdiction
