We’renowexpandingourElectronicsteamandlookingforaSeniorHardwareEngineertotakeakeyroleindesigningtheelectricalsystemsthatdriveandcontroltheMenteebot’sphysicalintelligence.
Responsibilities
- DesignanddevelopcomplexcustomPCBsforroboticsystems—including:
- Motordrivers
- Powerunitsandpowermanagementunits
- Sensorinterfacesanddigitalcommunicationsystems
- Leadhands-onhardwarebring-up,debugging,andvalidationprocessesinthelab.
- Interfacedirectlywithembeddedsoftware,mechanical,AI,andcontrolteamstoensurefull-stackintegrationandhighsystemperformance.
- Defineboard-leveltestplansandvalidationprocedures.
- DevelopandsupportEtherCAT,FDCAN,CANBus,andotherreal-timecommunicationinterfacesacrossthesystem.
- Drivecomponentselection,schematicdesign,layoutreviews,BOMmanagement,andproductiondocumentation.
- ConductlayoutandGerberfilereviews,andmanageDFM/DFTfeedbackfromexternalPCBlayoutvendors.
- CollaboratewithPCBmanufacturersandassemblyvendorstosupportprototypeandproductionruns.
- Contributetocontinualimprovementindesignreliability,signalintegrity,andsystem-levelefficiency.rovementindesignreliability,signalintegrity,andsystem-levelefficiency.
Requirements
- B.Sc.inElectrical/ElectronicsEngineering(orequivalentprovenexperience).
- 7+yearsofexperienceinhardwaredesignformultidisciplinaryroboticsystems,mechanics,automation,embeddedsystemsandroboticmotors.
- Proventrackrecorddesigninganddevelopingdiscretemotorcontrolandactuationdrivers,HighcurrentpowerDCDCinvertersandpowerdistributioncircuits.
- Provenhands-onexperiencewithindustrialcommunicationstandardinterfacessuchasEtherCAT,FDCAN,CANBus,RS485,SPI,I2CandUSB.
- Provenexperienceindevelopinganaloganddigitalcircuitdesign.
- Provenexperienceinschematic&BoardLayoutdesignwithAltiumDesigner(OrCADacceptableifwillingtoworkinAltium).
- Experiencewithlabbring-up,validation,anddebuggingusingoscilloscopes,logicanalyzers,multimeter,currentprobesandothertestequipment.
- ExperiencewithwritingandmaintainingdesigndocumentationsuchasBOM,testprocedure.
