As part of the development of next-generation satellite communication solutions for the aerospace and aviation industries, we are looking for a Senior Hardware Electronics Engineer to join an international RD team.

In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of complex embedded electronic hardware used in cutting-edge communication systems. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Systems, FPGA, RF, Mechanical, Thermal, and Manufacturing Engineers to deliver innovative, high-reliability products that meet demanding industry standards.

Tasks

As part of the development of next-generation satellite communication solutions for the aerospace and aviation industries, we are looking for a Senior Hardware Electronics Engineer to join an international RD team.

In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of complex embedded electronic hardware used in cutting-edge communication systems. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Systems, FPGA, RF, Mechanical, Thermal, and Manufacturing Engineers to deliver innovative, high-reliability products that meet demanding industry standards.

๐ŸŽฏ Responsibilities

๐Ÿ”น Hardware Design

  • Define the hardware architecture of complex electronic boards.
  • Design analog and digital schematics.
  • Select electronic components based on system requirements.
  • Define PCB stack-ups and routing constraints.
  • Supervise PCB layout activities in collaboration with layout engineers.

๐Ÿ”น Validation Qualification

  • Perform hardware bring-up and board validation.
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues and conduct Root Cause Analysis.
  • Participate in qualification and verification campaigns.
  • Ensure successful product validation prior to production release.

๐Ÿ”น Manufacturing Support

  • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing teams.
  • Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) best practices.
  • Support products throughout the manufacturing and industrialization phases.

๐Ÿ”น Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with:

  • Systems Engineering

  • FPGA Engineering

  • RF Engineering

  • Mechanical Engineering

  • Thermal Engineering

  • Manufacturing teams

  • Participate in technical reviews and engineering decision-making.

  • Share technical expertise and contribute to continuous product improvement.

Requirements

๐Ÿ’ผ Your Profile

  • Master's degree or Engineering degree in Electronics or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in hardware electronics design.
  • Proven experience owning the complete development of complex electronic boards.
  • Strong background in analog and digital electronics.
  • Excellent knowledge of Altium Designer.
  • Experience defining PCB stack-ups and routing rules.
  • Solid experience in hardware validation, debugging, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Knowledge of switching power supplies (Buck, Flyback, LLC, etc.).
  • Experience working with FPGA-based hardware integration (HDL development not required).
  • Understanding of EMI/EMC constraints.
  • Experience in Aerospace, Space, Defense, or other highly regulated industries is a strong advantage.
  • RF experience is considered a plus but is not mandatory.
