Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute advanced motor test plans, including durability, performance, and failure analysis.

  • Design andmaintainspecialized test fixtures andmotordynamometersetups.

  • Analyze test data using statistical methods; prepare detailed reports and recommendations.

  • Lead root cause analysis for motor-related failures and propose corrective actions.

  • Troubleshoot and lead corrective action for test measurement issues andfixture setup issues

  • Collaborate with engineering teams on motor design improvements and testing strategies.

  • Support the development of lab test procedures and work instructions

  • Ensure calibration and maintenance of motor test equipment.

  • Maintainstock of disposable lab supplies and safety equipment.

  • Lead the organization and layout of the lab.

  • Mentor and train junior technicians on motor testing procedures and best practices.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in motor testing processes and documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related technical field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in motor testing or relatedfield.

  • Proficiencywith dynamometers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters.

  • Strong understanding of BLDC, PMDC, and universal motor theory and operation.

  • Skilled in soldering and assembly of motors and electronic components.

  • Familiarity with motor controls, lithium battery technology, vibration, and sound analysis.

  • Highproficiencyin Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with LabVIEW, CAD, or programming languages (Visual Basic, C).

  • Knowledge of advanced statistical analysis and reporting.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
