Senior Electrical Engineer

Are you ready to shape the future of electrical infrastructure in global trade? DP World is seeking a technically accomplished Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical compliance and drive innovation across our terminal operations in Oceania. This is a full-time leadership role, reporting to the Engineering Directorand based ideally in Sydney.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of electrical system design, safety compliance, infrastructure performance and maintenance strategies across terminals. If you're an expert in HV/LV systems and thrive in operational environments, we want to hear from you.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide expert technical leadership in electrical systems, compliance and infrastructure upgrades.

• Lead the design, planning and implementation of electrical projects acrossterminals.

• Conduct system analysis, feasibility studies, and safety risk assessments.

• Develop and maintain technical standards and compliance documentation.

• Champion system performance improvements through condition monitoring and reliability-centred maintenance.

• Support field operations and project teams to deliver efficient and cost-effective engineering outcomes.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering.

• RPEQ and Chartered (CPEng) credentials (or eligibility).

• Minimum 5 years in a senior electrical engineering role or 7 plus years of total experience.

• Hands-on experience with HV/LV systems in operational environments, ideally in ports or logistics.

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, ETAP or PowerCAD, PLC systems (Siemens, ABB, Schneider) and safety audits.

• A self-starter mindset with excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills.
