Senior Automation & Commissioning Engineer

Nidec Conversion is hiringSENIOR Automation Commissioning Engineer for Montebello Vicentino (VI) site.

PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

-Design, implement, verify the system Automation functions SW, test the HW and SW equipment , put in service the HW equipment and SW applications. Provide technical assistance on site and support from the field the HW engineering body in the definition of project modifications.

- Starting from the specifications of the contractual project (functional specification of system, functional specifications of the mechanic), identify the modules Std and carry out the necessary customizations in order to satisfy the above specification.

-Perform the testing and verification of the modules/functions SW, possibly using simulators.

-Issue the use and maintenance documentation both to the customer and to internal users.

-Analyze and define interfaces between the various modules and/or subsystems available internally and from the market.

-Issue the details of the SW to support internal realizations or to support requests for performance performed externally.

- Schedule follow up any external suppliers of SW modules.

-Prepare and carry out the activities of commissioning of HW devices and SW applications provided in supply.

-Perform the functional and acceptance tests of the provided system.

-Define project changes from Apport

**TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS;**availability to travel 3/5 months per year.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Degree Engineering/Electronics/Informatics orJunior High School (5 years) electrical/electronic

Good english

Programming languages SW and HW platform of PLC.

Communication systems and networks for automation supervisory Systems (SCADA) basic knowledge of electrical machines (transformers and motors), power electronics and converters

Electrical distribution systems and equipments automation systems applied to different industrial lines and related processes
