Alongside this, our team explores open code libraries and hardware platforms for robotics vision and perception A.I. powered by synthetic data, challenging corner paradigms to make autonomous robotics more accessible.

We are looking for a Senior Aerial Robotics & Control Engineer to own the layer that turns desired behaviour and trajectories into actual high-performance flight.

Your mission with us

• Develop and deploy advanced flight-control and aerial-robotics capabilities on real UAS platforms.

• Build robust interfaces between autonomy software, ROS2, MAVLink, PX4 and airborne flight-control systems.

• Translate desired trajectories and behaviours into reliable vehicle motion.

• Develop and evaluate classical, nonlinear, model-predictive and learned control approaches.

• Work on aggressive manoeuvring, trajectory tracking and high-dynamic flight.

• Characterize vehicle dynamics and use real flight data to improve control performance.

• Develop simulation-to-flight workflows for new controllers and behaviours.

• Explore learned control, imitation learning, policy networks and neural-control architectures where they provide meaningful advantages.

• Work toward increasingly direct learned control of aircraft motion and actuators where technically justified.

• Take ownership from simulation and software integration through real-world flight testing.

Your contribution to the team *(required)*

• Strong practical experience with aerial robotics, flight control or highly dynamic robotic systems.

• Hands-on experience deploying control algorithms onto real vehicles.

• Strong understanding of rigid-body dynamics and feedback control.

• Experience with trajectory tracking, nonlinear control, optimal control or MPC.

• Strong C++ skills and solid Python skills.

• Experience with ROS / ROS2.

• Comfortable working with flight controllers and embedded systems.

• Experience tuning and debugging controllers using real flight data.

• Strong rapid-prototyping mindset and willingness to work directly with aircraft hardware.

• PX4 / MAVLink.
