Region MED > SBU MED Service > Iberia
SCADA Operations is part of the MED Service area, providing advanced technology for Monitoring, Control, and Data Acquisition systems for Wind Technology. This position will be integrated into the Mediterranean Regional Support Department, which covers Southern Europe, Turkey, the Middle East, Africa, and the Balkans, and provides SCADA-related support to the Construction and Service Departments.
Responsibilities
- Commissioning and Configuration of SCADA Server and PPC automation systems
- Configuration of communication devices (Cisco router and firewall, switches)
- High-level support to internal and external stakeholders during Service phase
- Development of additional features under customer's request
- Keep track of SCADA system status and update as-built documentation
- Support External partners on SCADA activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Communication, Programming, Electrical Engineering or Control Systems
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Knowledge and experience in Microsoft OS, Server, and SQL, including administrative functionalities
- Knowledge and experience with Virtual Machines (VMware or others)
- Experience with communication protocols (MODBUS, DNP, OPC-DA, OPC-UA, IEC, etc.)
- Knowledge of Studio 5000 Logix Designer, ControlLogix and structured text, minimally at a level corresponding to the Rockwell trainings
- Networking skills, Cisco certification is valuable
- Basic Linux skills

Additional information
This is a hybrid position based in Lisbon, Portugal and requires up to 15% of travel per year, reducing after the first two years in the role.
