As part of our growing O&M team for the Ashghal Road Tunnel Program, we’re looking for a talented Maintenance Engineer – SCADA who’s passionate about keeping critical systems running smoothly, safely, and reliably.

🔎 About the Role
In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for maintaining and supporting distributed SCADA systems built on AVEVA System Platform across multiple tunnel sites. You’ll help ensure continuity, stability, and compliance—directly contributing to the safe and seamless operation of one of Qatar’s key infrastructure networks.
🎯 What You’ll Be Doing
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for SCADA nodes and control rooms.
- Troubleshoot software, communication, alarm, and system performance issues.
- Handle system patching, backups, redundancy checks, and failover testing.
- Monitor historian data, alarms, system integrations, and overall SCADA health.
- Maintain logs, RCA reports, maintenance documentation, and change records.
- Work closely with OEMs, consultants, and internal teams for improvements and escalations.
- Support activities related to cybersecurity, asset lifecycle, and system upgrades.
💡 What You’ll Bring
- 5–6 years of hands-on SCADA maintenance experience (infrastructure/utilities experience is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of AVEVA System Platform, Intouch/OMI, Historian & Galaxy Repository.
- Familiarity with PLCs — Schneider, Siemens, or Rockwell.
- Good understanding of OPC UA/DA, industrial networking, redundancy, and remote architectures.
- Solid troubleshooting, reporting, and communication skills.
- Qatar driving license is a plus
🎓 Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- AVEVA System Platform certification is highly preferred.
- Networking or cybersecurity certifications are an added advantage
