About this Job
Qualifications and Skills:
- Trade school degree or technical training in robotics, automation, or industrial technology preferred
- Previous manufacturing experience required
- Experience programming and troubleshooting industrial robots
- Understanding of robotic welding processes (MIG knowledge preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and part drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills preferred
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail
Job Duties:
- Program, modify, and optimize robot programs for new and existing parts
- Set up robotic cells, fixtures, and tooling for production
- Troubleshoot robot and automation issues to minimize downtime
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on robotic systems
- Support production teams with robot-related adjustments and improvements
- Monitor robotic processes to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met
- Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams on automation projects
- Assist with additional robotic or automation tasks as needed
