DESCRIPTION
As a Robotic Integration Engineer at PickNik Robotics, you are a crucial link in ensuring successful customer integrations of MoveIt Pro robotics solutions. You will be hands-on with a wide variety of robot applications and hardware, including terrestrial and space projects. Integrating robot hardware and robot software is the core of this job! This means deploying advanced software capabilities to new robots and robotic systems.

REQUIREMENTS
Degree(s) in Engineering, Robotics, or a related field and/or equivalent industry experience
Experience working in a hands-on environment to deploy robotic or automated equipment with a track record of delivery and customer satisfaction
Strong problem solving and communication skills
Be able to travel approximately every month to client sites. As much as 40% of the time.
Enjoy working in a high-paced collaborative environment
Provide onsite support, application advice and training for new and existing installations
**Some preferred skills/experience **
Demonstrated ability through previous projects
Experience with CAD and 3D printing
ROS, MoveIt, MuJoCo or other robotic libraries are advantageous
ROS-adjacent technologies like DDS, Xacro, URDFs,
Python development
Understanding of various aspects of sensors like lidars, cameras, and IMU
Knowledge/Awareness of Agile software development methodology
Basic knowledge of Git version control
