About this Job
Tutor Intelligence is seeking a robot hardware engineer to help us build the next generation of accessible and intelligent robot hardware. In this role, you will build robot arms, chassis, actuators, drive modules, PCBs, grippers, enclosures, power systems, auxiliary actuated devices, etc. You will own the lifecycle of many projects, from ideation through design, sourcing, and production.
This is a job posting for hardware people who can do electrical things or mechanical things. Bonus if you can play for both teams, we like generalists.
At Tutor, projects move fast and change frequently. We’re a small startup with an even smaller hardware team. You will work on a lot of things here.
Our process works like this:
You apply, and we look at your resume.
If we like what we see, we will send you a design challenge.
If that goes well, we’ll invite you to come meet with us in person.

- Can learn / figure out pretty much anything
- Portfolio of cool stuff you have built
$90,000 - $120,000 a year
