The Department of Defense (DoD)’s Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) plays a critical role in support of delivering capabilities faster to the warfighter. TRMC ensures that DoD components have the necessary test and evaluation (T&E) infrastructure to research, develop, field, and sustain military systems.
An important thrust within the TRMC is the T&E infrastructure and tools to support robotics and autonomous systems. We are seeking a mission aligned professional to support our priorities in this area, serving as an operations manager for a growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Support robotics and autonomy testing initiatives across the DoD by tracking key threads, maintaining momentum, and adapting to emerging priorities
- Collaborate with Technical Program Managers to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency across multiple projects and teams
- Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Elicit, prioritize, and reconcile requires, needs, and desires from DoD mission partners
- Coordinate across multiple teams
- Serve as a liaison to ensure consistent communication and alignment across stakeholders
- Communications & Reporting
- Prepare executive briefs and white papers
- Prepare administrative reports for TPMs
- Capture meeting decisions and manage action item logs through to closure
- Maintain collaboration platforms (e.g., Confluence, Jira) and create program dashboards
- Identify process bottlenecks and recommend efficiency improvements
- Develop visual materials (diagrams, infographics, dashboards) to simplify complex concepts
- Assist in the planning for Airspace, and spectrum management
- Coordination & Execution
- Monitor schedules, deliverables, and resource allocations across multiple projects
- Track and report on risks and issues
- Work Environment
- Operate in a fast paced work environment that requires maturity, discretion, and a self-starter mindset
- While many responsibilities can be performed remotely, in-person attendance is expected and varies based on the classification level of the work performed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Active TS Clearance
- 5+ years of project management experience supporting DoD programs
- Excellent oral and written communication, synthesis, and briefing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Proficiency with collaboration platforms like Atlassian Confluence and Jira
- Demonstrated visual communication skill that simplify complex technical concepts
