About this Job
The Resident Maintenance Supervisor will manage and direct the day-to-day performance of the material handling equipment supported by his/her specific team. This person’s decisions can have a moderate to high-level impact on business operations. The customer site is in (Olive Branch,MS). (Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm) Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be$39 to $46.50 an hourat the time of posting. Final compensation will bedeterminedbyvarious factorssuch as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
What you will do in this role:
Using problem solving and critical thinking, key tasks include the following:
Lead, coordinate, and direct all functions of their report staff.
Perform at professional level to interpret/process more complex, less-clearly defined issues.
Identifyand resolve complex problems.
Define workflows, jobs, andreportingrelationships to gainoptimumeffectiveness.
Participateindevelopmentof department budgets and business plans for functionalareas.
Evaluate and recommend changes in methods or procedures withinownarea of responsibility and communicatetothe customer.
Identifyresource needs anddevelopjustification.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.
What we are looking for:
Associatesdegree,technicaldegree, or equivalent experience.
Demonstrateand apply broad knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for managed workgroup(s).
Demonstrateunderstanding and application of supervisory approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action.
Possess5 years of successful experience ina directly relatedfield and successful demonstration of position and key responsibilities as presented above.
Have experience with the following technical skill sets:
Allen-Bradley or equivalent PLC controls platforms
DeviceNet, PROFIBUS, Ethernet, or equivalent network communications platform
Electrical troubleshooting skills to include wiring, ac power, ac motors, electrical drawings/schematics, and control panels
Servo Drives, PC controllers, dc power supplies, optical devices (i.e., encoders,photo eyes, etc.)
Knowledge of automated equipment; preferably automated material handling systems
Mechanical experience
Lean Principles (4-Step Problem Solve, Kaizen, 5S, etc.)
Microsoft Office
Able to evaluate and analyze:
System/equipment performance data
Perform root cause analysis
Manage resolution of design-performance issues
Able to gauge,identify, and implement training based on skill assessment results.
- Able to manage KPIs and fault data using these methods:
Trackand measure
Evaluate and analyze the data
Implement and direct improvement
Able to create reports and communication materials to track and report performance issues.
Demonstratecontinuous improvement of maintenance and operations of MHE to the customer.
