Job Summary:

As a Quality Technician at Caterpillar Inc. you will perform quality control and/or technical support for all functional departments.

What You Will Do (including but not limited to):

• Perform quality control on receiving, shipping, storage, processing, renovation, inspection equipment maintenance, communication, packaging and returns.
• Ensure customer standards are maintained.
• Lead inspection staff and assist in training incoming quality personnel.
• Use specialized equipment including: hoists, saws, grinders, material handling vehicles, and chemical solutions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and/or electronic schematics diagrams.
• Working knowledge of CMM software.
• Working knowledge of inspection tools including, micrometers and various gages.
• Strong customer focus.
• Legacy software experience.

Top Candidates will also have:

• Previous experience in quality control or manufacturing.
• Previous Leadership experience.
• Degree or taking classes towards degree.
• Geomagic software skills.
• Geomagic Design X knowledge.
• Lidar scanning application.
• Microsoft office and computer skills.

Additional Information:

• 1st Shift: Monday – Friday 6:00AM – 2:30PM.
• This is an on-site position in Hodges, SC.

Summary Pay Range:

$20.15 - $25.65
