About this Job
Summ****ary: This position consists of performing quality inspections during the duration of production, this includes in process and final inspections. This position is an office, hourly position reporting to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct in process inspection for all actuator components at each workstation daily.
- Perform first piece inspections, as notified by the manufacturing operators.
- Inspect all completed products before releasing them to the next Operation.
- Perform internal auditing functions as required.
- Perform receiving inspections on Actuator components.
- Perform receiving inspections on Outside processes for Actuator components.
- Maintain inspection record and filing as defined by ISO requirements.
- Coordinate all activities associated with the non-conforming containment areas.
- Coordinate the recording and disposition of all non-conforming and or scrap materials.
- Re-evaluate any component that has been reworked to assure compliance to specification.
- Monitor and document any deviation from standard procedure and notify the Quality Assurance Supervisor.
- Take measurements according to print utilizing CMM to test tolerances if to specification
- Maintain compliance with company policy, safety and good housekeeping practices.
- Will be cross trained for Final Inspection requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Highschool Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a quality program.
- A working knowledge of various types of measuring equipment including calipers and mics as well as basic data collection skills.
- Basic understanding of equipment and processes in the area of responsibility.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods kneeling, squatting, bending about 50% daily and continuous walking and standing about 90% daily.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at times.
