About this Job

As Project Manager for Maintenance Contracts you are responsible for the proper and timely execution of multiple Service Contracts. You manage under Yokogawa's general direction one or more multidisciplinary engineering teams in Industrial Automation with an inspiring management style. You represent Yokogawa in all dealings with the client. You are in frequent contact with clients, suppliers and/or contractors and with all departments within Yokogawa, including visits to clients. Your activities are related to the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE), Scope, Time and Budget of major and minor Service Contracts and Service activities. You manage, administer and oversee work performed by the Engineering Teams and sub-contractors.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Overall responsibility for Maintenance Contract’s results with respect to QHSE, scope, time and actual costs incurred
  • Prepare accurate and detailed reports on Maintenance Contract’s status with respect to QHSE, scope, time, actual costs, risks, budget and resources
  • Representative for the Maintenance Contract and Service activities to end-client
  • Plan, organize, assign, coordinate, integrate and evaluate the work of an assigned team
  • Manage and oversee the design, engineering, implementation, testing and site activities of multiple activities, through staff and outside consultants, to meet stringent completion deadlines
  • Prepare, administer and monitor budgets and schedules and control change-order processes
  • Represent Yokogawa effectively in negotiations and interactions with a variety of consultants, contractors, agencies, suppliers and other stakeholders
  • Interpret, explain and apply complex rules, regulations, laws and ordinances
  • Provide technical assistance and staff leadership on assigned Contracts
  • Develop sound execution strategy within established guidelines
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with consulting engineers, contractors, representatives of other agencies and others encountered in the course of work

We are looking for a colleague with:

  • Graduate of a technical program at a university or institution of higher professional education
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in Business environment
  • 1-3 years of experience as Project Manager in Industrial Automation
  • A manager who always puts Yokogawa and its solutions in the best possible light, in contacts both within and outside the company
  • A motivator and communicator adept at expressing opinions that are clearly based on extensive knowledge and expertise
  • Decisive, with a proven ability to think clearly and analytically even under stress
  • Commercially-oriented with knowledge and experience in the development of international contracts
  • Keenly interested in new developments in the process industry, computerization and process automation based on integrated systems (DCS, Safety, Asset Management, PLC and SCADA solutions)
  • Knowledgeable of automated planning and budgeting techniques
  • Communication in written and spoken English
  • Willing to travel
