WSP Middle East is seeking an experienced Project Manager - EV Charging & Smart Building Technology to lead the successful delivery of innovative electric mobility and smart infrastructure projects across the region. This role offers the opportunity to work on major developments, smart cities, transportation programmes, airports, mixed-use developments, and sustainable mobility initiatives that are shaping the future of the Middle East.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the delivery of EV Charging Infrastructure projects from concept through design, construction, testing and commissioning.
- Oversee the implementation of AC and DC charging networks, fleet electrification projects, charging hubs and smart energy solutions.
- Manage the delivery of Smart Building Technology systems including BMS, IBMS, ICT, ELV, Security Systems, Access Control, CCTV, Smart Lighting, IoT Platforms and Digital Building Solutions.
- Act as the primary client interface, managing project scope, programme, budget and stakeholder expectations.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across electrical engineering, ICT, digital technology, sustainability and specialist design disciplines.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, international standards and WSP quality procedures.
- Support business development activities, client engagement and proposal preparation across the Smart Mobility and Smart Buildings sector.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
- 12+ years' experience delivering EV Charging Infrastructure, e-Mobility, Smart Cities, Smart Buildings or Technology-led Infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of EV charging systems, power distribution, renewable energy integration, battery energy storage systems and intelligent transport solutions.
- Proven experience managing Smart Building Technology systems including BMS, IBMS, ICT, Security, ELV and Digital Twin technologies.
- Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale projects within consultancy, engineering or infrastructure environments.
