Job Description

This position serves LEONI’s North American Project Management Department responsible for overseeing the P&L, leading actions to meet targets, and defining countermeasures for deviations in collaboration with relevant functions.

The candidate will assume full autonomy in all customer-facing interactions—serving as LEONI’s trusted representative and stewarding our brand, values, and commitments.

Job Profile Description

  • Lead customer projects from RFQ (Gate 10) to end of production (Gate 70), ensuring adherence to LEONI project management processes and standards.
  • Define profitability targets, monitor performance, and implement corrective measures for deviations in schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Prepare and present project status reports at the account level, facilitate gate review meetings, and escalate decisions to the Project Steering Committee.
  • Coordinate cross-functional work packages, conduct stakeholder analyses, and manage customer escalations through the defined escalation path.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, KPIs, and risk/opportunity portfolios, ensuring timely follow-up on action plans.
  • Establish and manage internal and external communication structures, including kick-off meetings, status updates, and documentation.
  • Apply risk management guidelines to identify, track, and mitigate project risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical/Electrical preferred)
  • Experience preferred : 3-5 years in Automotive project/wiring industry with at least 2 years of leadership in cross-functional organization.
  • Basic knowledge of project management tools (MS project or similar)
  • Proficient English speaking and writing skills
  • Microsoft Office Skills
  • Good team work, interpersonal skills, & problem solving skills
  • Willingness to travel
