Your tasks

  • Ensure product development according to Brose PEP and customer’s requirements, respective time schedule, quality and cost demands. Technical responsibility for the entire project.
  • Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering project within area of assigned responsibility by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.Technical responsibility for the entire project.
  • Ensure communication, coordination and activities with customers, customer team members and central functions as a technical project leader.
  • Major contact to the customer concerning engineering issues.
  • Prepare and present technical concepts, internally and externally.
  • Control and coordinate modifications requests, to customers and suppliers.
  • Prepare and implement technical measurements to improve project ROI and ROS.
  • Knowledge of supply base in India.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • 8-10 Years of experience in similar industry.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of CAD Design software. In addition, the individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office software package (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Other Skills and Abilities: Familiar with window assemblies, door modules. FMEA.
  • Other Qualifications: Work well under time pressure. Some business travel required.
