About this Job

Mission:

We are looking for a Project Engineer (Industrial Automation / PLC & SCADA) to join our industrial automation team and contribute to the delivery of automation projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for the development, configuration, testing, commissioning, and support of PLC and SCADA systems. You will work closely with project teams and customers throughout the entire project lifecycle, from software development and system configuration to commissioning and handover.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who is passionate about industrial automation and would like to further develop technical expertise while working in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop PLC and SCADA applicationsfor industrial automation projects.
  • Take ownership of assigned project modules and ensure their successful delivery.
  • Configure and commission automation equipment and control systems.
  • Support system testing, FAT/SAT activities, and on-site commissioning.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and help resolve system faults.
  • Prepare technical, project, and user documentation.
  • Work closely with customers and participate in technical meetings and discussions.

** Qualifications & Experience:**

  • 2-5 years of experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, or control systems engineering.
  • Bachelors degree in Automation, Control Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with PLC programming using Structured Text (ST/SCL), Ladder Logic, and FBD on Siemens, Schneider Electric, Rockwell, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with SCADA configuration, including tags, alarms, trends, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols, including Profinet, Profibus, Modbus TCP, and Ethernet/IP.
  • Understanding of automation hardware, control systems, and field instrumentation, including DI/DO/AI/AO signals.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, I/O lists, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
  • English level: Intermediate (B1) or higher.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with SQL, SSIS, and SSRS.
  • Experience with MES/ERP integrations and technologies such as OPC, REST APIs, and XML.
  • Knowledge of C#, .NET, or other integration tools and technologies.
  • Experience working with databases and web services.
