About this Job
The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for the start-up, testing, and commissioning of industrial automation systems and plants at customer sites. He/she will collaborate with the design, development, and installation teams to ensure that the implemented solutions comply with technical standards and customer requirements.
Your tasks
Perform functional testing and acceptance of automation systems (PLC, SCADA, HMI, sensors, actuators, etc.).
Manage on-site commissioning activities, including supervising installation and verifying technical compliance with system specifications.
Prepare technical and testing documentation, start-up and functional test reports.
Interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
Support the design and installation team in the pre-commissioning phase.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations during field activities.
Provide technical training to customer personnel on the use of installed systems.
Your profile
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
At least 2-3 years' experience in a similar role in the industrial automation sector, preferably in intralogistics automation.
In-depth knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., B&R, Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider), SCADA, industrial networks, wired signal interfaces or shared DBs.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, layouts, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Availability for national and international travel.
Good knowledge of English (written and spoken).
Problem solving, autonomous operation, and customer focus.
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred)
Knowledge of Microsoft Project (preferred)
Good teamwork skills
