About the Role

Support for production tooling development

What You'll Do

• Continue the development of the BH1 logistics process and Tooling

• Main assembly Jig/holder

• Main assembly handling in and out of the assembly line / Industrial manipulator lifting tools

• Transportation cart outside of BHE for welding/coating

• In this assignment, the students are expected to run through a waterfall cycle for each topic

  • Gather information on the current process, and gather information on what’s expected with this upgrade
  • Research and brainstorm initial ideas
  • Align with the team and get approval to move forward
  • Detailed design, design review, and build a mock-up
  • Quotation from suppliers, cost and time estimate purchase and assembly
  • Test run, usage instructions (procedures)
  • Handover to the operator and sign off

What We’re Looking For

• Highly motivated fresh mechanical/mechatronic/electrical engineers who want to develop in our next-generation test rigs

• Candidates with familiarity with testing for process improvement

• Candidates who take the initiative to gather information and work independently

• Experienced with SolidWorks or similar
