About this Job
What you can expect
The Mission
VectaCore specializes in high-end autonomous systems where hardware and software must operate in perfect synchronization. As the Product Manager for UxV Systems, you are responsible for translating our long-term ecosystem vision into actionable, data-driven development. Your mission is to ensure that our integrated stack— spanning physical vehicles, electronics, and digital platforms—delivers maximum value through rigorous market research, objective prioritization, and lifecycle management.
Your Responsibilities
Data-Driven Discovery: Translate the overarching ecosystem vision into actionable product roadmaps. This involves relying on quantitative market research, evaluating tenders, and analyzing competitor specifications to define the functional evolution of our integrated stack.
Backlog Management: Lead the unified prioritization of features that require synchronized development across mechanical, electronic, and software teams. Ensure the product remains a cohesive system rather than a collection of siloed components.
Lifecycle Management: Proactively manage the product portfolio across all maturity phases. This includes scaling successful features and strategically managing the End-of-Life (EOL) process for components when data indicates a shift in market viability.
Objective Prioritization: Apply a standardized scoring matrix to evaluate new product ideas. Ensure every concept entering the development pipeline is backed by a verified case regarding commercial value, technical effort, and certifiability.
Whole Product Ownership: Define the requirements for the "Complete Solution." This includes not just the core vehicles and electronics, but also the digital ecosystem, services, and add-on products.
Requirement Orchestration: Craft clear, value-driven Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) rooted in verified customer needs to provide development and architecture teams with clear context for implementation.
Your profile
Educational Background: A degree in Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, Robotics, or Industrial Engineering is preferred. Alternatively, a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
Professional Experience: 5+ years in Product Management, ideally within B2B tech, Robotics, Aviation, or complex Mechatronics environments.
Analytical Hard Skills: Strong ability to assess market data, evaluate technical tenders, and track business cases. Comfortable reading technical API documentation and hardware specifications.
Execution Mindset: Experience navigating the intersection of Agile (Software) and V-Model (Hardware) development cycles.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate prioritization decisions clearly and constructively based on data-backed insights.
We offer
Collaboration is our top priority. We're not looking for cogs in the machine, but rather individuals who enrich our team and whom we value as people.
We don't believe in silos. We celebrate successes together, learn from mistakes together, and support each other – always as equals.
Short decision-making processes and open doors are standard practice here. Your ideas won't get lost in bureaucracy; they'll be heard, discussed, and implemented.
The tech world never stands still, and neither will you. We support your personal and professional development (certifications, conferences, courses) with a dedicated budget and paid time off.
Design your workday to fit your life. We offer a healthy balance of remote work (home office) and productive time in our modern startup office, combined with flexible working hours.
Collective agreement
For this position we offer a gross annual salary starting from € 64,554 on a full-time basis. Depending on your qualifications and experience, overpayment is a given for us.
