Position Summary

The Technician (PLC) reports to the Technical Services Manager – Belen and is responsible for troubleshooting, upgrade existing equipment along with design and implementation. Hands on installation of production equipment and hardware design.

Responsibilities & Duties

• •Troubleshoot and upgrade existing equipment to new equipment design & Implementation.
• •Perform hands-on installation support for new or modified production equipment.
• •Implement machine control knowledge and understand classical control theory.
• •Responsible to operate Fluke Meters, and other electronic test equipment.
• •Elaborate electrical schematic drawings using AutoCad and Autocad electrical
• •SCADA developing knowledge: Ignition, Python and Labview

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required with bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering preferred. Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience with direct PLC programming required PLC Programming experience required. HMI development with RSview32, FT view & C-more panels. Hardware design experience with PCL/VFD wiring diagrams. Experience with Rockwell ControlLogix & Micrologix. Experience with Koyo PLC programming. Industrial network protocols knowledge with Ethernet I/P, DeviseNET, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP. Motion control Knowledge with servo, stepper, DC, AC drives. Serial communication knowledge with RS232 / 485.
