What awaits you:
- Troubleshoot, read, and edit PLC logic
- Read and evaluate electrical schematics
- Troubleshoot using meters, laptop, schematics and manuals
- Motivated to continuous improvement in the process to maintain optimum operation conditions and plant productivity
- Work independently and take ownership while working in a team environment
- Demonstrate customer focus by continually exceeding customer expectations
- Programming and installation of automation systems and interfacing with other factory control systems (PLCs, HMIs, robotics, drives and computers)
- Modifications and improvements to automation equipment
- Review work orders and receives verbal instructions on job assignments
- Respond to emergency requests for immediate repairs
- Maintains specified records and logs of repairs, maintenance-related activities
- Performs preventative maintenance procedures following established program
- Promotes teamwork in troubleshooting events
- Other duties as assigned
What you'll need to succeed:
- Minimum 3 years experience in plastics industry or equivalent
- Experience in optimizing blow molding products or equivalent
- Knowledge about energy sources (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic)
- Knowledge of relevant quality control schemes
- Knowledge of different measure techniques (z.B. calipers, gauges)
- Knowledge of EHS guidelines
- Knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- High school diploma or GED required
