Job Description

  • Provide on-site technical support for production lines, ensuring that PLCs, robots, and automation systems work reliably with minimum downtime;
  • Focus on troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement;
  • Diagnose and solve failures in PLCs, robots, sensors, drives, etc.;
  • Support production during incidents & reduce downtime;
  •  Analyze root causes and ensure permanent fixes;
  •  Modify PLC programs (logic adjustments, improvements);
  •  Adjust or reprogram robots for new requirements or optimizations;
  •  Improve cycle times or reliability;
  • Propose and implement process improvements;
  • Support line upgrades or changes;
  • Support operators and maintenance team.

Qualifications

  • Technician or Degree in Automation / Mechatronics / Electronics / Industrial Engineering
  • More than 2 years of experience in industrial automation;
  • Experience with fault finding in real production;
  • Experience in reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams;
  • Experience in PLC programming with Nexeed Platform;
  • Experience in robot Stäubli programming;
  • Experience with Beckhoff´s PLC;
  • Experience in robot programming;
  • Fluent English;
  • Proactivity to act independently and flexible to adapt to different environments;
  • Good communication skills and ability to think analytically;
  • Able to work in cross-functional teams and international environment.
