Job Description

  • You design, program, and commission automated machinery that supports Lear’s transformaton of the WIP Plant in Valladolid. You work within advanced industrial automation projects, contributing directly to smart manufacturing, robotics integration, and production efficiency in a revitalized plant environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, program, and commission PLC systems, primarily using Siemens platforms.
  • Design and configure HMI solutions to support machine operation and diagnostics.
  • Program and integrate industrial robots, including ABB, KUKA, FANUC, and Yaskawa.
  • Configure and troubleshoot industrial networks, servo systems, and peripheral equipment.
  • Interpret and manage electrical and pneumatic schematics for automated machinery.
  • Test, validate, and commission machines on-site to ensure performance and safety.
  • Support ongoing program maintenance, optimization, and fault resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver automation solutions on time.

Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

2+ years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation environments.

Hands-on experience with Siemens Step 7 and TIA Portal.

Experience programming and commissioning industrial robots.

Good written and spoken English, with availability to travel 40–50% of the time
