Join our innovative team as an Electrical Engineer Technician, where you'll play a pivotal role in developing, testing, and refining cutting-edge solutions. This hands-on position is perfect for an aspiring engineer seeking to gain real-world experience while contributing to meaningful projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing under the guidance of engineers to validate changes and improvements.
- Engage in product design reviews, offering technical feedback on designs and quality.
- Collaborate across disciplines with team members to tackle complex engineering challenges.
- Employ debugging, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Develop high-quality C/C+ software.
- Conduct unit-level tests to ensure functionality and design integrity.
- Create and maintain documentation to ensure comprehensive design specifications.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency with common communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB) is desirable.
- Familiarity with various sensor types, analog circuits, power supplies, and motor/control topologies.
- Understanding brushed and brushless motors, control circuitry, and motor control software algorithms is advantageous.
- Knowledge of firmware development.
- Working familiarity with WIFI, Bluetooth, NFC, and other RF communication methods is a plus.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with Altium, oscilloscopes, function generators, and other test equipment is preferred.
- Experience with PCB prototyping, soldering, and assembly is a plus.
Education/Experience: Minimum requirement: High School Diploma/GED and current enrollment in a college/university pursuing a degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
