Paint Robot Technician

• Lifts workpiece manually or uses hoist to secure workpiece in fixture or loads automatic feeding device
• Starts machine, engages feed, transfers or sprays application and observes operation
• Inspects and measures product to verify conformance to specifications
• Inspects and measures paint to verify conformance to specifications
• Moves machine controls and guides to adjust machine
• Adds coolant to machine reservoir and turns valve to start flow of coolant
• Programs Robot Pathways
• Programs Robot Application Controls
• Performs routine preventative maintenance on robots
• Provides immediate corrective action to robot faults
• Performs routine preventative maintenance on paint booths
• Engages equipment and observes spray applications
• Demonstrates responsibility for safety, quality and production
• Maintains all required records
• Responsible for proper collection, disposal and management of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes
• Has general awareness and knowledge of Quality Polish (TS16949) and Environmental Standards (ISO 14001) and how they affect the department
• Trained on department work instructions and easily identifies location of work instructions in department
• Keeps work area clean and organized
