Position Summary
The Packaging Maintenance Owner is the technical leader for packaging equipment, responsible for reliability, preventive maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting. As a Packaging Maintenance Owner, youll be the technical leader ensuring the reliability and performance of advanced packaging equipment. Youll own maintenance strategies, lead preventive programs, and tackle complex troubleshootingincluding PLC and controls issues. This role drives equipment upgrades, documentation, and technician development while partnering closely with operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own maintenance strategy and reliability of packaging assets
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs
- Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Support PLC troubleshooting and controls-related issues
- Develop maintenance procedures, training materials, and documentation
- Support equipment upgrades, installations, and improvements
- Partner closely with Packaging Asset Owners and Operations
Qualifications / Requirements
- 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Preferred experience with: Ishida E-Scale, Ishida VFFS baggers, BPA Equipment, Eagle Inspection Equipment, Robotic Palletizer (Fanuc, ABB, Kawasaki)
- Strong background in electronics, controls, and PLCs
- Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology, Electronics, or related field preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for training documentation
- Ability to mentor and develop junior technicians
