Job Title: Dispatch Specialist Job Description
As a Dispatch Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operations of autonomous vehicles. You will be responsible for resolving a variety of trigger requests, sending remote commands, and logging real-time feedback to enhance the performance of our self-driving technology.
Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve trigger requests from autonomous vehicles promptly.
- Safely send remote commands for on-road and closed-course testing.
- Log real-time feedback regarding autonomy and platform performance during testing for engineers.
- Triage and review remote assist workflows to maintain performance metrics and compliance.
- Escalate operational blockers with suggested solutions.
- Engage in cross-functional projects to demonstrate positive impact.
- Stay updated on self-driving technology, software, and operational changes.
- Work towards quantitative and qualitative goals impacting Vehicle Operations.
- Act as an ambassador by interacting with the public.
Essential Skills
- Experience in dispatching, safety, fleet management, and emergency dispatch.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Experience in a safety-critical environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strategic decision-making abilities.
- Critical thinking and willingness to learn.
- Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record and at least 5 years of driving history.
- Ability to pass initial and random drug and alcohol screenings.
- Availability to work day or night shifts, including early mornings or late nights, and regular overtime.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in operations, technology, customer service, or automotive field.
- Proficiency in G-Suite and command line interface.
- Interest and aptitude for technology tools such as apps, gaming, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience in a collaborative team environment.
Work Environment
This role is based in a Command Center environment where you will monitor live vehicle activity using proprietary tools. The position requires you to be 100% on-site with potential travel. Training lasts approximately three weeks, and the shift is a 10-hour overnight (4th shift: Thursday-Sunday, 6pm-4am). Expect overtime and weekend availability.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
