Mechatronic Engineer

What you’ll do

A Product Engineer 3 will own and support platform product engineering of Electromechanical devices for worldwide distribution. They will manage projects for supplier production release, training and quality development, maintaining quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into finished products. Responsible for planning, implementing and managing support of manufacturing and production processes. Performs problem solving and recommendation updates or changes to quality standards and procedures.

• Be familiar with failure analysis, process development, application flows, material issues, and systeminterconnects

• Coordinate with other groups and organizations for design, process, test,reliabilityand manufacturing to solve product issues and productionproblems

• Ensure suppliers’ quality performance for consistent and reliableproducts

• Conduct design reviews with cross-functional teams (CFT) and stake holders to coordinate development and qualificationactivities

• Be a lead advocate for your product across companyorganizations

• Understand andassistwith testing of electromechanicalproducts

Who we’re looking for

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree in the following fields (but not limited to)- Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering and Robotics

• Working knowledge of Statistics Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause-Corrective Action (RCCA), 8D & 5-Whys Problem solving

• Prior experience with MS office tools (ppt, excel, project)

• Previousexperience in cross-functional project management

• Previousexperience leading technical projects

• Comfortable with travelling

• Ability to read and understand dimensional analysis of drawing standards

• Ability to assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards

• 5+ years applicable experience preferably in the semiconductor industry

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
