About this Job

We are looking for an Engineer to fill the position of Mechatronic Engineer, Process Optimization. Reporting to the Mechatronic Business Process Lead, you will help shape the work methods that support innovation and the quality of BRP vehicles by contributing to the implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS) and the tools required for product development. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and collaboration skills, experience in vehicle product development, and a solid understanding of the supporting processes.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: 

  • Define and improve development and validation processes for embedded electrical/electronic systems.

  • Identify required improvements based on industry best practices such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, and ISO 21434.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to harmonize practices and support digital transformation.

  • Contribute to the training and onboarding strategy for development teams.

  • Review processes to ensure compliance and make adjustments as needed.

  • Work with other process architects to harmonize and integrate methodologies.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: 

  • Engineering degree in electrical, mechatronic, mechanical or domain.

  • Proven experience (8+ years) in electrical and electronic systems development for vehicles or transportation solutions, including design, integration, and validation, with knowledge of ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 21434 standards and MBSE/Arcadia approaches.

  • Knowledge of processes and tools related to electrical harness development, including schematic and harness drawing management.

  • Knowledge of requirements management and traceability tools such as Polarion, PTC Integrity, or DOORS.

  • Experience in organizational change management (OCM) to lead transformation initiatives and engage teams.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.

  • Proficiency in French & English is required to interact with international suppliers and partners.
