About this Job

*About Role *As a Mechanical Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, servicing, and maintenance of robotic systems and mechanical equipment. You will troubleshoot technical issues, support preventive maintenance activities, and ensure maximum machine uptime through efficient field and workshop operations. The role requires hands-on mechanical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to travel for customer site installations and service support. Key Responsibilities*Assembly and Service Operations:*

  • Assemble, install, troubleshoot, test, and maintain robotic systems and mechanical equipment.

  • Perform on-site servicing and ensure proper functioning of machines.

  • Diagnose issues and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime. Process & Documentation:

  • Maintain proper service and assembly records.

  • Prepare daily/weekly reports on work progress.

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Interpret Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical drawings for accurate assembly.

Requirements

Diploma Engineering in Mechanical or Mechatronics Enginnering or related field

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

  • Experience in robotic systems assembly and servicing is preferred.

  • Additional Advantage: Experience in hydraulic pump systems.

Tools & Software:

  • Hands-on experience with mechanical tools and measuring instruments.

  • Basic knowledge of CAD software.

  • Familiarity with MS Office and ERP systems.

Soft Skills:

  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Effective time management and task prioritization.

Quality Assurance

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth operations.

  • Support preventive maintenance and ensure maximum equipment uptime.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • High-quality assembly with minimal defects.

  • Timely completion of service and maintenance tasks.

  • Maximum machine uptime and reduced breakdowns.

  • Accurate and up-to-date documentation.

  • Continuous improvement in processes and efficiency.
