Job Description
We’re seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of advanced robotic and automation systems within the aerospace sector. This role offers hands-on involvement across concept creation, prototyping, and detailed mechanical design.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 3D models for robotics and automation concepts using CATIA / 3DX
- Conduct reachability and feasibility analyses
- Support Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities
- Design and prepare rapid prototypes for trades and de-risking
- Produce 3D and 2D drawings for prototype fabrication
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Deliver detailed mechanical designs for platforms, end effectors, and support equipment
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven Aerospace industry experience
- Proficient in CATIA and 3DX
- 2–4 years’ experience in mechanical design engineering
- Knowledge of robotics, tooling, or automation systems
Desirable
- Experience supporting MBSE or systems-led design
- Exposure to rapid prototyping and manufacturing processes
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
