Goal of position

TheMechanicalDesigner in Automationisresponsiblefordevelopinganddesigningmechanicalcomponentsandsystemstoenhanceourautomatedprocesses. Thisrolefocusesoncreatinghigh-qualitydesignsthatmeetprojectrequirementswhileensuringmanufacturabilityandcost-effectiveness. The idealcandidatewillpossessstrongskillsinmechanicaldesign and asoundunderstandingofautomationtechnologiestoensureseamlessintegrationwithexistingsystems.

Inthisposition,youwillcollaboratewithcross-functionalteams,includingengineers,automationtechnicians, andproductionstaff, todeliverinnovativesolutionsthatimproveoperationalefficiency.Yourworkwillinvolvegeneratingdetaileddesignspecifications,performingsimulations, andvalidatingprototypestoensuretheymeetperformancecriteria.Yourexpertisewillcontributeto thecontinuousimprovementofourautomationprojectsand supportourcommitmenttomaintainingthehighestindustrystandards.

Formal prerequisites for the position

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Experience in mechanical design.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with automation systems and basic PLC programming is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Availability to work flexible hours or on-call as needed.
• High knowledge in finite element analysis.

Tasks

• Design and develop mechanical components for automation systems.
• Create detailed drawings and specifications for manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to integrate designs into automated systems.
• Conduct simulations and testing on prototypes to validate design functionality.
• Review and refine existing designs to enhance performance and reduce costs.
• Maintain thorough documentation of designs, specifications, and changes.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement initiatives.
• Responsible for the delivery of the mechanical BOM (Bill of materials).
• Responsible for the correct concept at the assembly.
