Job DetailsJob Location: Arcade, NY 14009Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 Salary/yearJob Shift: 1st ShiftManufacturing Test Technician The Manufacturing Test Technician is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing test processes that ensure high quality, reliable products in a production environment. This role partners closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to design test strategies, troubleshoot issues, improve yield, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong technical acumen, hands on problem solving skills, and a passion for manufacturing excellence. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Build, troubleshoot and support production testing equipment. Utilize various operating systems to interact with, collect data from or modify test systems such as, but not limited to, MS DOS; Windows XP; and Windows 10. Implement new testing methods to ensure product quality. Communicate and build relationships with vendors. Solder wires, clips, various connectors and more rarely, circuit boards. Program or re program PLCs as needed, including but not limited to Mitsubishi and Siemens. Install new and maintain current vision systems. Program and install load banks and motor drives. Maintain balance machines. Perform preventive maintenance to minimize production downtime. Backup test systems. Assist calibration department with calibration of test systems. Train others in test system usage. Maintain inventory of spare parts. QualificationsREQUIREMENTS: Associate's degree (or higher) in electronics engineering. Strong working background in electronic, mechanical and pneumatic systems. Above-average troubleshooting skills. Comfortable performing hands-on work. Ability to read schematics and blueprints. Above average communication skills. Above average soldering skills. Ability to use multimeter and oscilloscope. Experience with Microsoft Office. Familiarity with PLC programming. Comfortable working with both hardware and software.
