Schedule:
Alternating shift:
- Week 1: Monday-Thursday, 6:30am-5:00pm.
- Week 2: Tuesday-Friday, 6:30am-5:00pm.
Pay:
- Starting:$29.50/hour
- 90-day increase:$1.50/hour
- Possible premiums:
- $3/hour: postsecondary degree/diploma in a related field. Available at hire.
- $2/hour: Maintenance Tech Level 2 (available after 3 year anniversary and evaluation).
- $4/hour: Maintenance Tech Level 3 (available after 5 year anniversary and evaluation).
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized maintenance on highly automated, state-of-the-art glass production equipment. Equipment includes:
- Fanuc Robots
- Vacuum Chambers
- Laser Systems
- Glass Laminators
- Dispense Systems
- Cleanrooms
- Preventative maintenance on production and assembly equipment.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Document activities as appropriate- i.e. logbook, inspection walk throughs, etc.
- Work in a cleanroom environment
- Suggest equipment modifications to increase machine efficiency and improve quality.
- Participate in training and continuous improvement activities.
- Work cross functionally with other departments to ensure plant goals are met.
- Additional projects as needed by Leadership.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Two-year degree or equivalent experience in a maintenance related field.
- Must have the ability to troubleshoot and repair with strong mechanical aptitude.
- Physically capable of manual labor including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching. This requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of pneumatics, industrial electrical controls systems, and mechanical processes.
- Experience in electronics, glass, or precision manufacturing.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English both written and verbally.
- Cleanroom experience is preferred.
- Basic electrical and mechanical understanding.
- Demonstrate the ability to utilize computer software and equipment interfaces.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills with the ability to draft reports.
- Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office.
- Commitment to safety and an orderly and safe workplace.
- Ability to work as part of a team, including all levels of coworkers and vendors.
- Ability to exercise good judgement in decision making, ideas, and all aspects relating to the CLiC team, Cardinal, and other company relationships.
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and conduct, exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot complex problems.
- Ambitious, observant, "Team 1st" mentality.
