**Pay Rate: $31.15 - $44.00 per hour based on skills

**PCA provides up to 100 paid training hours per year to help technicians advance through the progressive skill levels and achieve higher pay. **

**Technicians supply their own basic hand tools. PCA provides a tool stipend (or replacement) to help technicians maintain basic hand tools. PCA provides all special and heavy tools. **

**PCA provides Safety shoes and Safety Glass stipends **

SUMMARY

  • Responsible for maintaining all converting and corrugating equipment to minimize downtime.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform a variety of maintenance tasks to diagnose, repair, rebuild, replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on all plant equipment and facilities.
  • Must be able to follow all safety and company policies that include lock-out tag-out procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining all converting and corrugating equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment by performing preventive and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Willingly work all necessary hours and shifts and is able to work on call as needed.
  • Additional duties may be assigned by management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year(s) Industrial Maintenance experience with troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
  • Basic Electrical experience and troubleshooting ability
  • Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical drawings.
  • Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
  • Must be able to stand, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit, stoop, and bend.
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft and Windows products
  • Experience with PLC programming, especially Siemens and Allen-Bradley a plus
  • Experience with and knowledge on machine control systems
  • Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Technical degree in Mechanical or Electrical Trades is a plus

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Starting salary for position: $31.15 - $44.00 per hour.

  • Bonus: Annual Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.

  • Paid Vacation: 1 week per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.

  • Paid Holidays.

  • Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.

  • Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions**.**
