Maintenance Technician
About the Role: Were looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring that all industrial machinery, production equipment, and facility systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background with hands-on experience in troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repair in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on industrial and facilities equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
Read and interpret technical schematics (electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic).
Calibrate, adjust, and test equipment to maintain optimal performance.
Perform welding and fabrication work as needed.
Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software for work orders and PM tracking.
Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
Collaborate effectively with other departments to support production goals.
Required Experience and Skills:
Electrical: Ability to read electrical schematics, diagnose and repair electrical issues, and use appropriate tools (e.g., voltmeter, wire strippers, crimpers, power tools).
Pneumatic: Strong troubleshooting skills, ability to read pneumatic schematics, and perform system repairs using proper tools.
Hydraulic: Experience with reading hydraulic schematics and repairing hydraulic systems.
Knowledge of industrial safety practices and regulations.
Familiarity with CMMS systems for managing work orders and preventative maintenance.
Preferred: Siemens HMI and controls experience.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Tools Required: Voltmeter, wire stripping and crimping tools, power tools, pry bars, pipe wrenches, and common hand tools (screwdrivers, open-end wrenches, hammers, punches).
