What You’ll Do As a Maintenance Technician you’ll be part of our team located in Farmer’s Branch, TX. You’ll get to:

  • Troubleshoots production equipment and mechanical failures, repairs and performs preventive maintenance (PM) as required to ensure equipment reliability

  • Assists Operations, Quality and Engineering teams with root cause analysis for 5 Why’s, Change management, Incident Management, and Non-Conformances to identify reasons for incident causes

  • Supports the daily operations of Planned Maintenance, Autonomous Maintenance, Corrective, Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Predictive Maintenance standards while working with teams, focus priority, and plant directives.

  • Work with teams to fabricate machine parts as needed and responsible for shop cleaning and 6S

  • Helps maintain spare parts inventory and restocking inventory for the plant as needed

  • Ensures completion of work orders as scheduled and document in CMMS in a timely manner.

  • Reviews equipment instructions, blueprints, electrical, and pneumatic schematics to ascertain test specifications, procedures, objectives, test equipment, nature of technical problem, and possible solutions such as part redesign, substitution of material or parts, or re-engineering of parts or subassemblies

  • Work with others to achieve plant business objectives of safety, productivity, customer service, quality, cost and environmental protection.

  • Minimum of5 years of industrial maintenance experience required

  • Mid to high level break-fix & preventative maintenance experience required

  • Strong knowledge of Fanuc, Mitsubishi and Allen Bradly controls

  • Experience with advanced PLC, and/or robotics, and CNC repair

  • Experience in wrench forge a plus

  • Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems

  • Understand electrical; 460 VAC 3-phase and 110 VAC control sources as far as determining power and Ohms law, voltage availability

  • Comfortable to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and use hands, lift and/or move 10 lbs regularly and up to 33 lbs occasional
