Maintenance Technician II – Electrical / PLC
East Peoria, IL (KK)
Pay: $25–$31/hour (Based on Experience) Schedule: AWS Night Shift | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (12-Hour Shifts) Full-Time | Overtime Available

If you enjoy troubleshooting industrial equipment and working with electrical systems, this is a great opportunity to grow your maintenance career. We're looking for a Maintenance Technician II who can safely repair, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment while supporting a fast-paced production environment.
Keep Production Running
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial production equipment
- Assist with diagnosing PLC-controlled equipment and electrical issues
- Work with motors, VFDs, sensors, relays, and control components
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and basic ladder logic
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and help minimize downtime
- Complete work orders and document repairs in the CMMS system
- Assist with equipment upgrades and continuous improvement projects
Requirements
What You Need
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems
- Basic to intermediate PLC troubleshooting experience
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Experience with motors, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and automation equipment
- Manufacturing or heavy industrial maintenance experience
- Understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and safe work practices
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar PLC platforms
- Experience working with HMIs
- Familiarity with industrial controls and automation
- Experience using a CMMS
- Willingness to learn and grow your technical skills
