Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for production equipment maintenance and ensures continuous production, including troubleshooting, regular preventive maintenance plan execution (TPM), and equipment modifications, as well as perform basic mechanical or electrical work as needed and as qualified.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

- Performs responsibilities of production corrective and preventative maintenance of production equipment and their controls to ensure operation of machinery.
- Communicates with the production department to coordinate preventative maintenance and troubleshooting work in production areas.
- Responsible for keeping records of all preventative maintenance and troubleshooting works completed.
- Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment following all safety requirements.
- Prepare and maintains maintenance related documents, daily reports, check sheets, preventative maintenance documents.
- Research and request quotations from suppliers (equipment, tools, fixtures, purchased components, etc.) Other tasks as assigned.
- Other equipment maintenance and repair tasks assigned
- All other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:

Required Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED with 5-7 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Associate Degree in Maintenance or other Technical related field and 3 or more years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Mechanical and electrical knowledge.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Thorough understanding of manufacturing production and processing machinery
- Ability to work well with individuals and teams across the company to achieve company goals and target KPIs.
- Excellent computer skill and use of MS Office
- Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Working knowledge of Robotics and other related automated machinery and equipment
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or other CAD related software programs
Preferred Education & Experience:
- 3-7 years of Industrial Maintenance experience.
- VFD, HMI, and PLC experience.
- Ability to draw concept layout and to write specifications of equipment for purchasing facilities, jigs, workstation, line side rack etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent people skills to include collaboration in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment.
- Outstanding work ethic and commitment to organizational success.
Working Conditions:
- 100% on the production floor.
- Traversing the production floor
- Use of protective equipment, devices, and clothing
- Ascending/Descending ladders,
- Lifting 40-50 lbs.
- Possible international travel to Headquarters
- Domestic travel to customers, suppliers, or other sites as needed
- Overtime and weekend work as needed
