Job DetailsJob Location: Beaver Dam - BEAVER DAM, WI 53916Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $37.00 - $42.00 HourlyJob Shift: 1st ShiftJob Summary Essential Functions Installs, services and repairs wiring, conduits, fixtures and other electrical devices and systems in an industrial or commercial setting. The Maintenance Electrician willbe responsible forworking with a tight nit team tomaintainline integrity, safety,productionand quality standards. The Maintenance Electrician will also be creating solutions both proactively and reactively in a fast-paced environment tomaintainand improve line efficiency. Qualifications Experience working in afast-pacedmanufacturingfacilitytroubleshooting industrial electrical and electronic systems. Ability to interpret blueprints,schematicsand wiring diagrams Ability toutilizeMicrosoft Office and experience with CMMS An Associate degree in Industrial Electricity/Automation related fieldisdesirable Minimum of three years experience as a Maintenance Electrician Wiring 3 phase motors, starters, and other electrical devices Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits, including 480 V. Ability to troubleshoot control circuits down tocomponentlevel Ability to connect with a laptop to troubleshoot, program PLCs andHMIs. Must be able to program VFDs Knowledge of pressure sensors, flow meters, temperature sensors, and reading and assimilating any technical documentation toassistin the use or repair of any control device Ability to learn mechanical troubleshooting. All other duties as assigned by Management or volunteered for. Desired Qualifications Previousexperience in the food industry helpful but not necessary Experience with Rockwell Automation/Allen Bradley Software Competencies Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,operatingand maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability towriteroutine reports and correspondence and speak effectively. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructionsfurnishedin written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Experience w/ CMMS concepts and Systems Proficient w/ MS Suite Applications Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee isfrequentlyexposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employeeis regularly required tostand and talk or hear. The employeefrequentlyis required towalk;use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employeeis occasionally required tosit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
