Maintenance Controls/Mechanical Technician
Brighton NC Manufacturing Solutions, headquartered in Brighton, Michigan, is a CNC machining manufacturer of metal parts with a rich history in this industry dating back to 1965. We have collaborated with numerous partners in the automotive, railroad, construction, heavy equipment and military defense industries on many different machining needs over the span of our company's existence. The Maintenance Controls/Mechanical Technician performs maintenance on machine shop operations, especially CNC machines.
· Troubleshoot and perform diagnostic checks on equipmment controls system(s)
· Read electricial/hydraullic/pneumatic schematics, controls diagnostics and ladder logic
· Perform related mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic duties as required
· Documents projects in detail, repairs, parts used and time completing tasks using CMMS
· Identify the root cause of reoccurring issues and develop/implement resolution
· Carry out preventative maintenance procedures as laid out be the manufacturer's specifications. Recognize potential issues and concerns found during PM's and determine if repairs are needed immediately or if they can be decided upon and implemented later
· Committment to continuous improvement and workplace safety
· Performs lock out/tag out procedures
Qualifications
* Proficient knowledge of Fanuc, Mitsubishi and Siemens control packages
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
* Experience with 120vac, 208vac, 480vac
* Knowledge of machinery rigging, leveling, and geometric inspection/adjustment
* Willing and able to work overtime, when needed
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated pay range is commensurate with a candidate’s skills and experience, generally in the range of $28-$36/hour. We offer a very competitive and comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and a 401K Plan.
