**🛠**️ Duties & Responsibilities

  • Safety First: Spot safety hazards and fix unsafe conditions before they cause trouble.
  • Keep It Running: Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on assembly machines to keep everything in tip-top shape.
  • Make It Better: Suggest smart upgrades to our PM schedules to improve timing and efficiency.
  • Save the Day: Respond fast to equipment breakdowns, troubleshoot the issue, and get production back online.
  • Level Up: Jump headfirst into continuous improvement projects to optimize our operations.
  • Speak Up: Share your bright ideas for system and process improvements through our team channels.
  • Track Your Wins: Keep clear, accurate logs of repairs and mechanical issues using our tracking systems.
  • Smooth Transitions: Support the team during equipment start-ups and product change-overs.
  • Welcome New Gear: Help commission, test, and launch brand-new production machinery.
  • Flex Your Skills: Take on other exciting projects and tasks as assigned by the leadership team.

🎓 Minimum Qualifications

  • The Basics: High School Diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
  • The Experience: Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing automated assembly equipment.
  • The Brains: A solid, fundamental understanding of PLC-based machine logic.
  • The Goal: Ability and willingness to work toward and complete your Millwright certificate.

⚡ Required Skills

  • Air Power: Deep knowledge of pneumatic circuits and systems.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with PLC-based equipment and a basic understanding of PLC programming.
  • Master Troubleshooter: Natural ability to diagnose electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues.
  • Component Expert: Skilled at selecting and installing machine sensors and key hardware parts.
  • Tool Master: Highly proficient in using industrial machining tools and shop equipment.
  • Blueprint Reader: Ability to read, interpret, and update electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical blueprints.
  • Safety Champion: Strong understanding of machine guarding protocols and industrial safety regulations.
